Gaza: It’s Time to Act Now

As the ceasefire takes effect in Gaza, now is the time to donate and provide aid | 600 aid trucks to enter Gaza every day |

After 15+ months of hardships and extreme challenges, 600+ aid trucks will enter Gaza daily, according to the terms of the ceasefire.

On Sunday 19th January, a ceasefire took effect in Gaza, after 15+ months of hardships and extreme challenges.

Over this devastating period, the people of Gaza have lost their loved ones, their homes and life as they once knew it. The ceasefire brings a chance for Palestinians to be able to grieve their losses and to process the trauma of the last 15 months.

But the ceasefire also provides hope to Palestinians – after all these months, they are finally able to return home, as many have been waiting to do for over a year. We can help them start to rebuild their homes. Furthermore, according to the terms of the ceasefire, 600 aid trucks will now be allowed to enter Gaza every day. This offers a crucial opportunity to deliver vital items such as food into Gaza – items that have been extremely limited.

Yeryüzü Merhamet has been distributing aid in Gaza since 2013, including throughout the recent crisis. We have built strong connections in Gaza and have already sent aid trucks full of essential items. We are now preparing to send more trucks.

But these trucks need filling with aid.

Send aid into Gaza

You can send essential items into Gaza. You can help people that have been deprived of food and water for over a year by giving them the essentials they need to survive. We recognise the importance of the matter at hand and urgency of the situation – Palestinians have had little food over the last 15 months – we must act now. You can give sadaqah, providing food and water aid, medical support and other vital items to a people in need.
