Help a newborn baby in their first moments of life
Expectant mothers are facing poverty and conflict, worried about the conditions their baby will be born into. Some can’t afford nappies while others urgently need milk. We’re distributing mother and baby kits around the globe, helping give babies a fighting chance at life. But we urgently need your support. Donate to our mother and baby project today and help these little babies live.
What’s inside a mum & baby kit?
Kits generally contain important items that babies will need, such as nappies, formula milk powder, wipes, a blanket, mini bath tub, baby bottle or other hygiene items. The specific contents of each kit will vary depending on the location, due to available supply.
Each item inside a kit has been carefully selected to support newborn babies. Every baby needs these essential items to survive and deserves to have them. While new mums are left with worry about their baby’s wellbeing, we’re working hard to change that. Donate a kit today and remind new mums facing poverty, war or natural disasters that they’re not alone.
Millions born as refugees
According to the UNHCR, an estimated 2 million children were born as refugees between 2018 – 2023. Many live in difficult conditions, with some born in refugee camps that may face overcrowding and potential sanitation concerns. This leaves babies at risk of disease, which can be extremely difficult for their little bodies to overcome, especially if medical care is not readily available.
