343 million people face starvation
As wars continue and poverty worsens, millions of people around the world face starvation. Without nutritious food, they remain vulnerable to hunger, malnutrition and ultimately, death. Yeryüzü Merhamet is distributing bread, one of the simplest staple items, to communities across the globe. Hiring local women to bake the bread, we are also providing woman with opportunities to earn a living. Donate to our bread distribution fund, feed families and empower women in need.
Let’s break bread
Many families rely on bread as it’s one of the simplest, most affordable food items. It's a staple in many diets, particularly for families living through the Gaza crisis and for Syrian & Palestinian refugees. Sadly, many bakeries have been destroyed or forced to close, leaving the community without.
At Yeryüzü Merhamet, our teams are distributing bread to vulnerable communities, feeding families and ensuring they have access to nutritious food. We urge you to give whatever you can to our bread distribution fund. This initiative can provide up to 3,000 loaves of bread at a time.
Help women earn a living
We hire local women to bake the bread, especially widows and other vulnerable women, granting them employment opportunities. This way, they can earn a steady income and provide for their families.
This is just one of many livelihood projects we carry out, along with supporting farmers with tools & seeds, empowering families with rickshaws and uplifting women with sewing machine training. These projects empower people to become self-sufficient and help break the cycle of poverty for future generations.

While we find it easy to eat delicious meals, drink water and make memories with our loved ones whenever we please, imagine the pain of people who don’t even have bread to eat.
