After a busy Ramadan (which you can read about in our March 2025 update), delivering iftar, food parcels and temporary prayer areas, this April we focused on building partnerships and furthering our global impact. Here’s what we did this month.

Eid Gifts Distribution

We distributed 2,000 Eid gifts to children for Eid-ul-Fitr. Eid gifts were distributed across Gaza, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia and Sudan. These gifts made children smile from ear to ear and filled their hearts with joy. Thanks to your donations, Eid gifts gave vulnerable children a glimmer of hope and a tiny part of their childhood back.

AI Conference in Turkey

Revolve Dialog AI Conference

We are excited to announce that we attended Revolve Dialog 2025, a humanitarian incubator in Turkey, focused on using AI for humanitarian organisations. With the aim of networking and building connections, the event was a great success and Yeryüzü Merhamet was fortunate to win an award. The conference opened new doors for innovation & global collaborators, as we networked with industry leaders.

DIHAD 2025 Yeryüzü Merhamet

DIHAD 2025

At the end of April, we were fortunate to exhibit at DIHAD (Dubai International Humanitarian Aid & Development Conference), one of the world’s biggest humanitarian aid conferences. The conference ran from the end of April to the beginning of May. During this time, our team connected with potential partners, raised awareness of the work we do and looked into tangible options to further our impact across the globe. You can read more about Yeryüzü Merhamet's experience at DIHAD here.

“It was incredible to meet likeminded people from around the world – from young students to fellow charities and NGOs – it was really reassuring to know there are other movements out there working hard to truly help people in need. We built strong connections at the conference and are excited to further our impact on a larger scale.” - Programmes Department
